About
Founded by Monica Fuerst in 1998 and located in Laguna Beach, California this residential design studio incorporates Feng Shui and green | sustainability into its designs ranging from remodels and additions to high end custom homes.
Prior to starting her studio, Monica worked at various architecture and design build firms engaging in commercial and residential schematic design, design development, construction documents and site observation. She also worked in the Zoning Department for the City of Laguna Beach. This experience gives her behind-the-scenes knowledge and skills to take a project from conception through construction.

In the past, she has volunteered in various organizations within her community of Laguna Beach, including Transition Laguna Beach (Green Building, Gardening, Food Coop, etc…), Zero Trash Laguna and the Community Learning Center.
Monica designed their rustic contemporary Laguna Beach home and lives with her husband, David and their three children, Matthew, Zachary and Gabrielle and their dog, Bodhi.
